The R1T rolls into 2025 with minimal changes.

The Rivian R1T is designed for off-roading, with serious off-road capabilities. Power is provided by 2 or 3, or 4 electric motors with horsepower between 600 and 835. The Rivian R1T has a range of 258 to 420 miles depending on the battery pack and motor combination. Performance is key with the R1T boasting a 0-60 mph as quick as 3 seconds and a towing capacity of up to 11,000 lbs. Rivian vehicles are built to last with a battery pack and drivetrain warranty of 8 years or 175 000 miles.

Rivian claims that the R1T is capable of driving through 3+ feet of water and rock crawl at 100% grade, the ground clearance of 14.9 inches also allows this truck to traverse just about any terrain.

The all-wheel drive R1T is available in three trims, the Adventure, Premium which has now now been discontinued, and Ascend. The R1T comes loaded with tons of features that include 20-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlamps, daytime running lights, pickup bed cargo box light, power folding side mirrors, auto-leveling suspension, LTE and Wi-Fi capability, Bluetooth pairing, wireless inductive charger, 6 USB, 3 120V outlets, Alexa voice commands, and a Meridian sound system.

The R1T also features a panoramic all-glass roof, storage is plentiful with locations between the bed, front trunk, rear storage bin, under-seat compartments, center console and gear tunnel, there is over 62 cubic feet of storage. There are two 120V outlets, an air compressor and room under the bed floor for an optional full-size spare, an optional manual or power tonneau cover. Another unique feature of the R1T is the Gear Tunnel, this storage space is perfect for dirty items and all of the stuff you can't normally find a spot for. The side doors have storage compartments inside and can hold up to 250 lbs and serve a dual purpose as steps to reach the roof to load gear.

The premium trim gave owners access to the tri-motor and quad-motor drivetrains but was discontinued, and the Ascend is now available with an exclusive tri-motor configuration.

Safety is paramount with standard equipment that includes 11 cameras, 5 radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 360 degrees of vision, automated parking sensors, active lane departure, blind spot warning, front collision mitigation, a rear collision warning system, and an active driver attention monitor.

The all-new Rivian R1T is engineered to take on any terrain. This all-electric truck has some stiff competition against the F-150 Lightning and Hummer EV but it's here to compete. It's loaded with a ton of features and innovative technology that makes the R1T stand above the rest in an increasingly crowded segment.
